What is PalBreed Planner?

PalBreed Planner is an independent, unofficial fan-made Palworld reference project. It provides a free version 1.0 breeding calculator, forward and reverse combination search, shortest-chain planning, roster directories, and supporting methodology. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by Pocketpair.

One-sentence description

PalBreed Planner is a free, independent, unofficial fan-made Palworld tool for checking breeding combinations, finding parents for a target, and planning routes from Pals a player already owns.

Short description

PalBreed Planner helps Palworld players answer three practical questions: what two selected parents produce, which parent pairs can produce a target, and how to reach that target from an existing Palbox. The browser-based project uses a versioned Palworld 1.0 breeding dataset, keeps exact variants distinct, displays gender requirements for the Wixen and Katress exception, and publishes its review date, limitations, and source notes. It is an independent, unofficial fan-made project and is not affiliated with Pocketpair.

Background description

The project was designed as a task-first reference rather than a generic list of creatures. Forward search checks a known pair. Reverse search compares direct routes to a desired child. The shortest-chain planner connects a player’s selected Palbox to a target through intermediate offspring. Separate directories explain the current roster, special combinations, the data version, and the limits of species-level planning. Saved Palbox selections remain in the visitor’s browser; the project does not require a Palworld login or a save-file upload.

Editors may shorten these descriptions for space while preserving the independent, unofficial status. Please do not describe PalBreed Planner as an official Pocketpair calculator, a game studio, or a service that guarantees passive skills, individual values, gender, mutations, or a fixed number of eggs.

Citable Palworld 1.0 breeding statistics

The following figures describe data version 1.0.0.100427-2026-07-15.1, reviewed July 15, 2026. They are counts from the project’s current static dataset, not estimates of player behavior. Link to the version 1.0 dataset page when quoting them so readers can see the counting rules and current review date.

StatisticCurrent figureDefinition
Selectable roster entries300Exact parent and target selections, including separately selectable variants and supported collaboration creatures.
Unordered parent-pair keys45,150All pairs counted once with self-pairs included; swapping ordinary Parent A and Parent B does not create another key.
Reverse child associations45,151One association per default forward result, plus a second child association for the gender-sensitive Wixen/Katress pair.
Entries marked New in 1.072Current roster entries carrying the project’s New in 1.0 label.
Variants85Entries linked to a base Pal while remaining distinct selections for lookup.
Special outcomes80Matrix-confirmed exact outcomes cross-checked against 79 parent-pair keys.
Rows with a New in 1.0 default child11,685 (25.88%)Current forward rows whose default output is one of the 72 marked new entries.

The 25.88% figure is not a pre-1.0 change rate. PalBreed Planner does not have a pinned, complete pre-1.0 matrix suitable for a defensible row-by-row historical comparison, so the project does not publish a count of old combinations that changed. An individual old recipe can be checked against the current calculator, but a single example should not be generalized to the entire chart.

How the breeding data is updated

Updates begin with a version-specific roster and breeding matrix. Each selectable entry is normalized to an exact identifier, English name, Paldeck code when applicable, category, variant relationship, introduction label, and local portrait path. Exact identities are preserved because merging a variant into its base species would make a breeding lookup ambiguous.

The build then creates one key for each unordered parent pair, including self-pairs. For 300 entries, the expected coverage is 300 × 301 ÷ 2, or 45,150 keys. Eighty matrix-confirmed special outcomes across 79 parent-pair keys are cross-checked and labeled against that snapshot. The gender-dependent Wixen/Katress outcomes retain both required female and male roles. Forward, reverse, and compact chain indexes are generated from the same snapshot so the project’s three calculator modes do not rely on unrelated charts.

Automated checks reject duplicate roster identifiers and slugs, missing parent or child references, duplicate pair keys, incomplete runtime files, mismatches between forward and reverse indexes, missing special labels, absent portraits, and published metadata totals that disagree with the deployed JSON. The site build also checks page metadata, canonical paths, structured data, indexability, sitemap coverage, and editorial content. A successful build is necessary but not treated as proof that a future game hotfix has not changed a result.

The version page records the game version, dataset version, review date, sources, known limitations, and usage terms. When a game update changes the supported data, the project should publish a new version identifier or revised review date rather than silently presenting an old snapshot as current.

Correction and verification policy

Corrections are evidence-led. A useful breeding report includes both complete parent names, exact variants, the child shown by the site, the child observed in game, required gender roles when present, platform, current game build, and a screenshot if available. A reporter should not send a password, authentication token, payment information, or an entire save file.

The project first reproduces the lookup in the deployed forward and reverse indexes, then checks the underlying versioned source and the handling of any special rule. If the published result is wrong, the data or presentation is corrected and the public version metadata or review date is updated as appropriate. If the difference cannot be reproduced, the page may document the open limitation while additional evidence is gathered. Factual corrections are not conditioned on providing a backlink, using a requested phrase, or accepting a promotional relationship.

Send a correction through the contact page or email [email protected]. Messages are reviewed as project capacity allows. For a time-sensitive article, include the deadline and the exact statistic or result being checked. The project cannot provide official comment on behalf of Pocketpair or resolve game purchases, bans, account access, server administration, or official bug reports.

Logo and brand files

The SVG files below are the preferred project marks. Use them to identify or link to PalBreed Planner in editorial coverage, resource lists, video descriptions, and community references. Keep the mark readable, preserve its proportions and colors, and leave reasonable clear space around it. Do not place the logo in a way that implies Pocketpair endorsement, official status, or ownership of Palworld.

A compact symbol is available as the project favicon. Please use the full PalBreed Planner name on first reference. “PalBreed” and “Palworld Breed Planner” may help readers recognize the project, but the preferred brand is “PalBreed Planner.” Do not redraw the logo, combine it with the Palworld logo, or create a badge that says “official partner.”

Linking and citation guidance

Link to the page that supports the statement being made. The home page is suitable for a general description of the tool. The Palworld 1.0 Breeding Data & Changes Report supports analysis and distribution figures. The dataset version page provides the stable citation, review date, sources, limitations, and usage terms. A specific calculator or guide page is preferable when it directly answers the reader’s question.

Use anchor text that fits naturally in your own sentence. PalBreed Planner does not request an exact keyword phrase, a followed link, or repeated placement. Independent editorial judgment is welcome. Limited factual quotation with reasonable attribution is covered by the PalBreed Planner Dataset Usage Terms; those terms do not license Palworld trademarks, characters, portraits, game files, or other material owned by Pocketpair or another rights holder.

Editorial independence, advertising, and affiliations

Coverage, inclusion in a resource list, and factual corrections do not require payment. A commercial proposal, advertisement, or affiliate relationship must remain clearly labeled and cannot purchase a calculator result, change a factual data conclusion, require undisclosed praise, or suppress an accurate correction. The project does not offer paid followed links or keyword-controlled editorial mentions.

PalBreed Planner is an independent, unofficial fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by Pocketpair, Microsoft, Sony, Valve, Epic Games, or another game platform. Palworld and related names, characters, artwork, and game assets belong to Pocketpair and their respective rights holders. The project’s original code, interface, written explanations, compilation, and branding are separate from those underlying game rights.
